Baby Scarlett | Pocatello Newborn Photographer

Baby Scarlett was a dream to photograph. She looked amazing in every color and was super agreeable with nearly every pose we tried. Her mom drove two hours to my studio from Davis County, Utah and Scarlett arrived ready to get going. It was a fun day capturing gorgeous portraits.

Baby Girls in Blue | Pocatello Newborn Photographer

I'm always drawn to color, and I really love non-traditional colors for girls. There are so many shades of pink and pink is gorgeous. But how about baby blue? Or teal? Or green? So many beautiful options.

Brenchley Twins | Pocatello Newborn Photographer

The Brenchley twins were so much fun to work with. Each brother has his own personality and those differences shined through in their photos. They were a bit older for their session than the typical newborn, so they spent some time awake during the session. Those photos made for some amazing expressions, super bright eyes, and all around smiles.

Newborn Klint S | Pocatello Newborn Photos

Klint was a dream newborn for his photo session. He was 9 days old and definitely in the "sweet spot" for newborn photos. His parents drove from Soda Springs to bring him to my studio for portraits, and he arrived ready to go. What a handsome little man!

Hailey | Pocatello Newborn Photography

This little bundle of fun had the most incredible hair. Hailey was just perfect at her session and we created a nice collection of beautiful newborn portraits. Take a quick peek for yourself...her hair is to die for, and you might spot the best little dimples too.

Turpin Twins | Pocatello Newborn Photographer

2022 was the year of twins for my studio. So many adorable pairs of newborns came through for photos and I'm here for it! This brother and sister duo are cute niece and nephew! Their parents traveled from Idaho Falls so we could capture some newborn photo magic. So much love!

Senior Photos for Pocatello High School Graduate

Senior Photos in Pocatello

When I first met with Pete and his mom Angie for their consultation appointment, I could tell Pete was on board, but not totally excited about getting senior photos. He was a good sport as Angie and I planned the look of his senior portraits, and we ultimately decided to use the awesome vibe of Old Town Pocatello as the backdrop.

About halfway through the consultation, Pete asked if he could include his guitar in some of his senior pictures. I exclaimed, "you play the guitar?!" I immediately insisted we include his guitar because I love when high school seniors bring their own hobbies and style to their senior photos.  From that moment forward, Pete was totally excited about his senior photo process. That was a win for his mom and a huge win for me!

So...when photo day arrived, we spent some time incorporating the textures of Old Town Pocatello, which makes an awesome background for senior photos!

Since my studio is in Old Town, we popped into the studio for some senior portraits in studio to compliment the outdoor photos we just shot.

And couple weeks later, we got together again for photos on the baseball diamond, since Pete plays baseball for Pocatello High School. I love senior photos that incorporate sports!

And once we had so many awesome photos to choose from, I designed custom graduation announcements for Pete.

Some of my senior portrait packages include custom announcements, which is a huge perk for moms!

Now that Pete's graduation announcements are ready to mail, it's time to schedule his "cap and gown" bounce back photo. This is a little perk I include with some of my senior photo packages. We plan to get together at Pocatello High School a few days before high school graduation to capture some photos of Pete in his graduation cap and gown.

All of these photos will be wrapped up into a custom-designed keepsake album and a photo collage printed on aluminum. Super cool!
